Grady Lewis Higgins died in an automobile accident on August 12, 1982 in Plainview Texas. He was born on May 17, 1955 in Pecos Texas. He was the father of Wesley Higgins of Midland, the son of A.L. "Skinny" and Geneva Higgins of Lubbock, and the brother of Ross Higgins of Plainview and Wayne Higgins of Lubbock. He is buried in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview.
