Obituary

Graveside services for Thelma Jean Donelson, 64, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Plainview Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Ritter, pastor of Seth Ward Baptist Church, officiating. Burial arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Donelson died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, in Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born June 26, 1940, in McAlister, Okla. She moved to Plainview in 1990 from Arlington. She had worked at Lockney Care Center, was a waitress at the Kettle Restaurant in Plainview and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Billy Higgins of Plainview; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and C.C. Brown of Chino, Calif., and James and Cora Brown of Arlington; two daughters, Diana Sisk of Mishawka, Ind., and Hazel Chandler of Monroe, La.; and a sister, Vachel Nelson of California. The family suggests memorial donations c/o Bartley Funeral Home.
