Obituary

Martha S. Herring, 80, of Lubbock died March 25, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Saturday in the Petersburg Cemetery, with Rev. Ken Horn officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Franklin Bartley Funeral Home.

Martha was born March 28, 1930, in Petersburg to Roy L. and Edna P. Harris McDaniel. She had worked at TI for many years, and over 20 years with Dillard's in the hosiery and house wares department. She was very active volunteering at the Lubbock State School, and operating many home businesses through the years.

One daughter, Gail Buglione; two sons, William Boren and Van Boren; one sister, Janice Goldston; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews all survive her.
