Funeral Mass for Joe Angel Herrera, 51, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymundo Manriquez, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 6 tonight in the Lemons Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Herrera died Saturday, July 30, 2005, in Covenant Medical Center Lubbock. He was born March 1, 1954, in Olton, to Hector and Maria Louisa Gonzalez Herrera. On May 26, 1990, he married Melba Diaz in Plainview. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Janice Herrera; a granddaughter, Myrical Herrera; a sister, Mary Elena Pedroza of Plainview; and two brothers, Hector Herrera Jr. of Lubbock and Herman Herrera of Plainview. Mr. Herrera's parents are deceased.
