ABERNATHY - Funeral Mass for Larry Hernandez, 30, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Isidore Catholic Church with the Rev. Jacob Puthumtarambil officiating. Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy.

Find-a-grave obit (Abell Funeral Home?) - Rosary for Larry Hernandez, 30, of Abernathy, will be recited Tuesday evening at 7 p.m., in the St. Isidore Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, in the same church, with Rev. Jacob Puthumparambil officiating. Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home of Abernathy. Mr. Hernandez died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, in Lubbock. He was born Jan. 15, 1978, in Hale Center, to Larry Hernandez and Flora (Luera) Hernandez. He was raised in Abernathy and graduated from Abernathy High School in 1996. He was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church in Abernathy. He is survived by two brothers, Billy Hernandez and wife Brenda of Abernathy and Juan Hernandez of Lubbock; grandparents, Terezo and Cecilia Luera of Abernathy; a great-grandmother, Julia Cortez of Abernathy; three nieces, two nephew, aunts and uncles.
