Memorial services for Humberto Hernandez, 59, of Plainview will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Sergio Bernal officiating. Open visitation will be from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Services are under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Hernandez died Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012. Humberto "Beto" Hernandez was born April 22, 1952, to Gregorio and Eva Ramirez Hernandez in Eagle Pass. He graduated from Eagle Pass High School and attended college in Kingsville where he received his bachelor's degree in sociology. He married Gloria Castillo on Feb. 9, 1980. She died May 26, 2006. Survivors include his children, Samuel and Rachel Hernandez, Laura and Tony Martinez, Israel Hernandez and Keren and Aurelio Acosta, all of Plainview, and Lisa Hernandez of Lubbock; two brothers, Jose Manuel Hernandez of Eagle Pass and David Hernandez of Houston; a sister, Olga H.
