Obituary

Joyce Henegar, 83, of Plainview passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Kornerstone Chapel with the Rev. Rusty Gray officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mrs. Henegar was born on Aug. 22, 1930, in Canyon to Albert Wesley and Edith Louise Kindrick. She married Charles Henegar on Jan. 29, 1949, in Texas City, Texas. He preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 2012. Mrs. Henegar was a member of First Assembly of God. Mrs. Henegar is survived by two sons, Steve Henegar and wife Cindy of Plainview, and Michael Henegar and wife Debbie of Tulia; one brother, Wesley Kindrick of Fort Worth; two sisters, Linda Goswick of Friendswood, Texas, and Melba Garievy of Love Lady, Texas; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
