Obituary
Funeral services for Billy Hembree, 53, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Trinity Fellowship Church with the Rev. Steve Rogers, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dimmitt by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home of Plainview.
Mr. Hembree died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, in Covenant Hospital Plainview.
He was born March 10, 1948, in Lubbock and graduated from Plainview High School. He was a longtime resident of Plainview and was a former dispatcher for the Hale County Sheriff?s Department. He and his wife owned Hembree Framing. He was an active member of Trinity Fellowship Church.
He married Charlotte Carlton on Nov. 26, 1966, in Plainview.
Survivors include his wife; two sons and a daughter-law, Shane and Christian Hembree of Plainview and Robert Hembree of Dallas; his mother, Lillie Pearl Hembree of Plainview; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Elbert and Virginia Hembree of Mineral Wells and Roy Hembree of Hale Center; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Jimmy Davis of Plainview; and two grandchildren, Kaegan and Karson Hembree of Plainview.
His father, Robert Hembree, died in 1962.
A love fund for Mr. Hembree has been established at Hale County State Bank.
