Heller, James Everette Thomas, Mrs. (Betty Jean Stelplugh)

Funeral services for Betty Jean Heller, 73, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church Chapel with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor, and J. Dean McNamara, chaplain of VistaCare Family Hospice, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Heller died at 10:25 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, in Care Inn of Plainview.

She was born May 27, 1925, in Meadville, Mo. On April 13, 1946, she married Everett Heller in Amarillo and they moved to a farm near Edmonson. After retiring from farming in 1980, they moved to Plainview and started Heller Insurance Agency, specializing in crop insurance.

She was a pianist for the Edmonson First Baptist Church and worked with primary and junior boys for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Plainview.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gary Heller of Plainview and Jerry Heller of Dimmitt; a sister, Mary Dewey of Meadville, Mo.; a brother, Dick Stelplugh of Springfield, Mo., five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Her parents and a sister are deceased.
