Obituary

Funeral services for Beverly Heflin, 61, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church chapel with the Rev. Alan Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Heflin died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2004, in University Medical Center in Lubbock. She was born June 1, 1943, in Childress, She moved to Plainview from Childress in 1968 and was a homemaker. On Sept. 3, 1966, she married Thomas Heflin in Lubbock. Survivors include her husband; a son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Jill Heflin of Lubbock; and two grandchildren, Tori and Jaxon Heflin of Lubbock. The family will receive visitors at Bartley Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. today.
