Heflin, Jerald (Jack) Burnis, Mrs. (Era Mae Brown)

Funeral services for Era Mae Heflin, 86, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Parkview Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Nobles, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral home.

Mrs. Heflin died at 1:58 a.m. Sunday, July 22, 2001, in Prairie House Living Center.

She was born Feb. 14, 1915, in Pickton where she grew up and attended schools. She moved to Plainview on Oct. 3, 1940. She was a homemaker and also had worked for the Plainview ISD in the cafeterias.

She was a charter member of Parkview Baptist-Church where she had taught per-schoolers.

On Jan. 3, 1934, she married Jerald ?Jack? Burnis Heflin in Pickton.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters and sons-in-laws, Burnis Jean and Wesley Eiland of Fayetteville, Ark., Reta and Joe Martin of Plainview and Kay and Johnny Conder of Abilene; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Thomas and Beverly Heflin of Plainview, Rob Heflin of Floyada and Louis and Patty Heflin of Plainview; one brother, Leon Brown of Winnsboro; three sisters, Mary Gillispie of Cleburne, Violet Greer of Dallas and Wanda Elledge of Fort Worth; 26 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to VistaCare Family Hospice in Plainview.

The family will receive visitors from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
