Heath, Robbie Lann Mrs. (Ruby Katherine Ragland)

Funeral services for Ruby Catherine Heath, 96, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Abernathy First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Currie, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in the Strip Pearce Chapel Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Heath died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, in Hi-Plains Nursing Home in Hale Center.

She was born July 7, 1903, in Hale County. She had been a long-time Abernathy area resident and was the oldest member of First United Methodist Church.

In 1931, she married Robbie Heath in Clovis, N.M. He died Dec. 6, 1983.

Survivors include two sons, Don Heath of Abernathy and Bob Heath of Littlefield; a sister, Verda Meester of Abernathy; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
