Obituary

Funeral services for Florida Mae Hearn-Coleman, 62, of Plainview will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Happy Union Baptist Church. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Griffin Mortuary of Lubbock. Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary. Mrs. Hearn-Coleman died Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at Covenant Hospital Plainview. She was born April 16, 1951, to the Rev. Sam Hearn and Martha Jane Hearn in Plainview. She received her formal education from Plainview High School. She was employed by Tommy Lewis Industries at the time of her death. Survivors include her husband, Tyrone Coleman; two daughters, Gwendolyn Mosley and Crystal Thomas; one son, Alan Hearn; a step-daughter, Tiffiny Coleman; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Ruby Hearn, Rodie and Herb Steward and Arma Gentry; one brother, George Hearn; 10 grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; and one great-grandchild.
