Abernathy- Funeral services for Hazel Healy, 90, of Lubbock, will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Abernathy First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Fred Connell, the Rev. Darrel Roberts and the Rev. Ken Horn officiating.
Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Healy died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, in Lubbock.
She was born Feb. 5, 1912, in Little Rock, Ark. she moved to Abernathy in 1950 and worked at Graham?s Restaurant and Abernathy Independent School District. She moved to Tucumcari, N.M., in 1963 and worked for Van Ark Nursing Home. She moved to Lubbock in 1973 and worked for Patti Cake Nursery.
On Dec. 20, 1933, she married Joe F. Healy in Clarksville. He died in July 1960.
Survivors include four sons, Billy Wayne Healy of Jal, N.M., Henry ?Hank? Healy of Amarillo, Jim Healy of Genoa, Ohio, and Richard ?Dicky? Healy of Grand Prairie; two daughters, Virgie McGee of Lubbock and Daisy Marie Lindsey of Alamogordo, N.M.; two brothers, Happy Nash of Clarksville and Cleo Nash of New Jersey; a sister, Marie Haigood of Lubbock; a sister-in-law, Lucille Nash of Casa Grande, Ariz.; 27 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
