Obituary

Funeral services for Reuben Hauschild, 91, of Plainview will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Joe Hauschild officiating. Cremation will follow under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Hauschild died Sunday, May 27, 2012, in Plainview. He was born Oct. 18, 1920, in Shiner, Texas, to John and Mattie Hauschild. He married Dorothy Lee Pool on July 11, 1940, in Brownsville. She died July 14, 2009. He moved to Plainview in 1964. He was an over-the-road truck driver for more than 30 years. Survivors include a son, Joe Hauschild of Brandon, Fla.; one daughter, Loretta Washington of Plainview; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. His wife; two sons, Reuben Ray Hauschild Jr. and John W. Hauschild; and one daughter, Hattie Height, are deceased. Online condolences may be made at www.bartleyfuneralhome.net
