Abernathy- Funeral services for Lola Lee Haston, 98, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Abernathy Church of Christ with Condy Billingsley and Jerry Chism, Church of Christ ministers, officiating.
Burial will be in the Abernathy Cemetery by Abell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Haston died Saturday June 10, 2000, in Bender Terrace Nursing Home in Lubbock.
She was born May 30, 1002, in Red Springs. She moved to Abernathy in 1951 from Hale Center. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the Daughters of the American Revolution, Pocahontas Chapter in San Angelo.
On July 7, 1924, she married Alva D. Haston in Duncan Okla. He died April 30, 1977.
Survivors include three sons, A.D. Haston of Jacksboro, John Haston and Frank Haston, both of San Angelo; three daughters, Elma Dean Mock and Letta Stephenson both of Lubbock, and Dixie Faith of Lovington, N.M.; a sister, Molly Adams of Lubbock; 17 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandson.
