Obituary

Services for Edith Harral, 97, of Tulia will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Davenport officiating and Tom Garrison assisting.

Burial will be in Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Wallace Funeral Home.

She died Friday, Jan. 25, 2002.

She was born July 13, 1904, in Blanket. She married Henry Lewis Harral on Aug. 6, 1922, in Abernathy. He died Sept. 14, 1990. She graduated from Abernathy High School and lived in Wayside and New Mexico.

She moved to Tulia in 1975 and was a member of the Tulia Senior Citizens and First Baptist Church and worked with the Tulia Prison Ministry.

Survivors include a son, Malcolm of Roswell, N.M.; a daughter, Billie Byrd of Tulia; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 25 great-great-grandchildren.
