Obituary
Nina Hardin, 102, of Plainview passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, in Plainview. Her services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, in the Chapel of First United Methodist Church in Plainview with the Rev. Jeff Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Hardin was born Nov. 8, 1908, in Corsicana, Texas, to Sam and Ruth Inman. She grew up in Corsicana and graduated from Corsicana High School in 1920. She married Norman Hardin on Dec. 19, 1926, in Corsicana. She and her husband moved to Plainview in 1947 from Corsicana. She was a homemaker, a member of First United Methodist Church in Plainview and a member of the church choir. She is survived by one son, Ted Hardin of Wylie, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Joan Hardin of San Francisco, Calif.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Norman Hardin, passed away Jan. 13, 1990. A son, Glenn Hardin; two brothers; and three sisters also are deceased. Condolences may be made online at www.lemonsfunerals.com.
