Graveside services for Larry Don Hallcy Sr., 60, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Plainview Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Miller, pastor of Happy Union Baptist Church, officiating. Burial arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Hallcy died at 7:25 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2005, at his residence. He was under hospice care. He was born Jan. 2, 1945, in Floydada, the son of Ruby Crowder and Charlie Hallcy. He worked as a truck driver for Jake Wilson Trucking and for Agri-plex in Nazareth. He was a member of Sudan Baptist Church in Sudan. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Hallcy and Lisa Hallcy Sansom and Robert Sansom, all of Plainview; five sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry Don Hallcy Jr., Ricky Lee Hallcy and Steven Earl Hallcy, all of Plainview, Lawrence Damone Hallcy of Austin and Mark DeWayne and Hope Hallcy of Hale Center; a brother, Donnie Hallcy; a sister, Anita Robinson of Denver, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild, Jayla Hervey of Arlington; a sister-in-law, Debra Hallcy of Plainview, and his former wife, Maggie Landrum of Plainview, to whom he was married for 30 years. His parents; two sisters, Ruby Faye Jefferson and Sue Ann Hallcy; a brother, Charlie Hallcy; and a grandson, Tyran Hallcy-Sanders, are deceased
