Obituary

Nellie Belle Hall, 95, of Plainview passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, in Plainview. Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013, in the Plainview Memorial Park with Mr. Oscar Chavez, chaplain of Area Community Hospice, officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Nellie was born on Aug. 26, 1918, in Plainview to James and Lilly Groff. She grew up in Plainview and graduated from Plainview High School. She married James T. Hall on Nov. 16, 1940. He preceded her in death on March 13, 1975. She was also preceded in death by a grandchild. Nellie served as city secretary for Olton for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and RSVP. She is survived by one daughter, Glenda Fuller of San Angelo; one son, Thomas E. Hall and wife Connie of Ruidoso, N.M.; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to Alzheimer's Association , 225 N.
