Obituary

Services for Jettie O. Hall, 84, of Abernathy, Texas will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Mike Davis, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the Abernathy Cemetery under the direction of Abell Funeral Home and Flower Shop of Abernathy, Texas.

Mrs. Hall died Wednesday, February 1, 2012, in Lubbock, Texas.

She was born October 9, 1927 in Dickens, Texas to Lon A. and Martha Lee (Shaw) Hyatt. She married Gerald Marvin Hall on September 8, 1945 in Lubbock, Texas and he preceded her in death December 5, 1994. She was a longtime Abernathy resident and had lived in Dickens, Texas. She worked as a bookkeeper at Reid Chevrolet, White-Gold Gin and other businesses until her retirement from the City of Abernathy in 2010.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mitzi D'Nae Sanders May 23, 2010.

She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl "Skeet" Engle-Condray and her husband Norman of San Angelo, Texas and Marsha Sanders and her husband Jerry of Lubbock, Texas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
