Hahn, J.D.

Funeral services for J.D. Hahn, 85, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Lemons Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Kevin Naillieux, Fred Fite Jr., and Eric Hahn, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Hahn died at 10:55 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2003, in the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Amarillo.

He was born Nov. 20, 1917, in Donley County. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 25 years. He also farmed in the area.

On Sept. 2, 1946, he married Mildred Presley in New Boston, Texas.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Clara Pfingsten of Plainview; a son, Charles Edwin Hahn of Texarkana; two brothers, Lloyd Hahn of Hope, Ark., and Leon Hahn of Pearl; a sister, Clora Haier of Houston; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
