Obituary

Gregorio Gutierrez, 84, of Plainview passed away on Aug. 6, 2015, surrounded by family. The family will received visitors Friday at Lemons Memorial Chapel. Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at Lemons Memorial Chapel and Interment followed at Parklawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements were under the care of Lemons Funeral Home. Gutierrez was born March 12, 1931 in San Benito Texas to Pablo and Manuela (Moya) Gutierrez. He married Estefana Rubio Gutierrez in 1952 in Alice, Texas. He enjoyed life as a farmer and worked hard for his family. Gregorio was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and he enjoyed singing and gardening. He loved his family and his beloved dog. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Estefana and one daughter, Manuela. Survivors include; six sons, Gilbert and wife Mary, Juan and wife Xylina, Baldo and wife Ruth, Greg Jr. and wife Ester, Paul and wife Leticia and James; four daughters, Grace Byrd and husband Norman, Leticia Bell and husband Ernie, Lupe Cavazos and husband Joe and Stephanie Gutierrez and husband Martin Ponce.
