Obituary

Mass for Guadalupe Gutierrez, 75, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Jose Relente officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. today at Lemons Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Gutierrez died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, at her residence. She was born March 12, 1931, in Pharr to Victor Loredo and Maria Diaz Loredo. She married Esteban Gutierrez on April 27, 2006, in Plainview. Mrs. Gutierrez was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include five daughters, Ann Aguirre, Rebecca Sterling, Bertha Gutierrez and Delia Gutierrez, all of Plainview, and Rachel Gillam of Youngstown, Ohio; six sons, Daniel Hernandez, Arthur Loredo, Esteban Gutierrez Jr., David Gutierrez and Daniel Gutierrez, all of Plainview, and David Gutierrez Jr. of Borger; one brother, Victor Loredo of Minnesota; 29 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
