Obituary

Osman Dyer ?O.D.? Gunn was born April 20, 1839 in Illinois to Dexter Carver Gunn and Lucy Arilla Owen Gunn. He moved with his family to Missouri at a young age. He was married three times: (1) Julia Ann Carter (2) Mary Eliza Taylor and (3) Iantha Adeline (Addie) Campbell. He had four children by his first wife: Sarah, Ida Florence, William Osman and Sintha. O.D. lived most of his life in Missouri. Following the death of his 3rd wife in 1928, he moved to the plains of Texas to live with his daughter, Ida Cantrell. He served seven months in the Civil War.
