Obituary

Funeral services for Ernesto Guerra Sr., 46, of Plainview will be at 4 p.m. today at New Life Assembly of God with the Rev. Steven Martinez officiating. Mr. Guerra died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in Irving. He was born Oct. 24, 1964, in San Benito to Enrique and Josephine Guerra. He married Irma Plasencio. She died in 2004. He was a welder and lived in Plainview most of his life. Survivors include his children, Delilah Guerra and Steven Guerra, both of Irving, and Ernest Guerra, Mario Guerra, Stephanie Gloria, Ricky Guerra and Tiffany Davis, all of Plainview; three brothers, Balerio Guerra of Corpus Christi and Mario Guerra and David Guerra, both of Plainview; five sisters, Dalia Olson of Plainview, Diana Martinez of Irving, Sylvia Orozco of Liberal, Kan., Sandra Porter of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Lisa Luna of Robstown; and 16 grandchildren. His parents and a brother, Lazaro Guerra, are deceased.
