Obituary

Funeral Mass for Jose "El Vampiro" Guadian, 59, of Plainview was at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Raymundo Manriquez officiating. Burial was in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Mr. Guadian died Saturday, July 2, 2011, in Plainview. A rosary was recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel. He was born March 19, 1952, in Guadalupe, Mexico, to Alfonso and Socorro Guadian. He moved to Plainview in July 1974 and worked numerous jobs in the area. He was a Catholic. Survivors include two daughters, Vicki of Wichita, Kan., and Monica of Dodge City, Kan.; his father, Alfonso Guadian of San Benito; a brother, Abel Guadian of San Benito; one sister, Irene Valles and her husband, Jesus, of Plainview; and four grandchildren. His mother, Socorro Guillen, is deceased.
