Griffin, Ruth Aileen (Teach)

Graveside services for Ruth Aileen ?Teach? Griffin, 78, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Parklawn Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Miss Griffin died at 6:45 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2003, in Covenant Hospital Plainview.

She was born March 24, 1925, in Sylvester and graduated from Sylvester High School and Texas Tech University. She completed her master?s degree at Sul Ross University. She taught health, physical education at Plainview High School from 1946 until her retirement in 1983 and also was girls volleyball coach. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Sylvester.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
