Obituary

Funeral services for Judith Ellen Tabor Gressett, 62, of Hale Center will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Abell Funeral Home of Hale Center. Mrs. Gressett died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, in Hale Center. She was born Nov. 6, 1947, in Midland to Eugene Martin Tabor and Zell Kathleen Higdon Tabor. She graduated from Midland High School in 1965 and attended Sul Ross University in Alpine. She worked as an executive assistant for various companies, colleges and banks. She also served as a program director for the United Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer and Steven Cox of Pecos and Jo Ellen and Chris Hoke of Homewood, Ala.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and John Swanson of Corpus Christi and Melanie and Michael Agan of Hale Center; and four grandchildren.
