Obituary

Funeral services for Connie Bernice Gregg, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in 11th and Amarillo Street Church of Christ with Gerald Bedwell officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home. Mrs. Gregg died at 5:36 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2001, in Prairie House Living Center. She was born Jan. 16, 1914, in Hall County and attended schools in Turkey. She was a member of 11th and Amarillo Church of Christ. On Jan. 13, 1934, she married Verner Lennie Gregg in Littlefield. He died April 25, 1959. Survivors include four daughters and sons-in-law, Joy and Lee Parker and Janith and Gordon May, all of Canyon, Janie and Barry McMennamy and Judy and Joe Offield, all of Plainview; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Johnny and Donnie Gregg of Meadow and Joe Gregg of Plainview; a sister, Belle Fryer of Connecticut; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to 11th and Amarillo Street Church of Christ Building Fund.
