Green, Ronnie, Mrs. (Carolyn Howard)

Funeral services for Carol Green, 59, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Joe P. Weldon, retired Baptist minister, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Green died at 12:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2001, in University Medical Center in Lubbock.

She was born March 8, 1942, in Gracemont, Okla. She moved to Plainview in 1948 and attended Plainview schools. She had worked for Chuckwagon Bar-B-Que Restaurant for 1 years. She was a Baptist.

On Feb. 14, 1956, she married Ronnie Green in Plainview.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters and sons-in-law, Vicky and Troy Hudson of Richland Hills, Donna and Terry Hill of Robbinsville, N.C., and Tabitha and James Gilpin of Lubbock; two sons and daughters- in-law, Marvin and Diane Green of Roswell, N.M., and Hilton and Terrie Vick of Hale Center; three sisters, Mrs. Harlan (La Verne) Wallingsford of Plainview, Mrs. Jack (Juanita) Robertson of Lubbock, Mrs. Larry (Quinnis) Nichols of Trinity; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Lemons Funeral Home today at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
