Graveside services for Ronnie Green, 65, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Plainview Cemetery with Steven Pope officiating. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Green died Sunday, June 11, 2006, at Lakeside Rehab Center in Lubbock. He was born Oct. 21, 1940, in Post to Roy Paul Green and Lona Belle Lockleer Green. He married Carolyn Howard on Feb. 14, 1958, in Plainview. She died May 2, 2001. He worked as a welder and carpenter for many years. Survivors include five daughters and two sons-in-law, Vicky and Troy Hudson of Fort Worth, Donna and Terry Hill of Robbinsville, N.C., Tabitha Gilpin of Moore, Okla., Lisa Green of Prairie Farm, Wis., and Connie Green of Rice Lake, Wis.; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Marvin and Diane Green of Roswell, N.M., Hinton and Terrie Vick of Hale Center and Ronnie Green of Rice Lake, Wis.; one sister, Nita Kay Abraham of Lubbock; 24 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents, his wife, three brothers and one sister are deceased. The family suggests memorials to the National Cancer Society.
