Green Gerald Edwin, Mrs. (Johnnie Faye Hoefer)

Funeral services for Johnnie Faye Hoefer Green, 88, of Hollywood, Calif., former Plainview resident, will be at 10 a. m. Wednesday with the Rev. J. Dean McNamara pastor of First Christian Church officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley-Silva Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Green died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2000, in Garden Crest Nursing Home in Hollywood.

She was born Jan. 21, 1912, in Kress, the daughter of the late Elmer B. and Nita Stark Hoefer. She married Gerald Edwin Green on Oct. 4, 1937, in Phoenix, Ariz. He died Jan. 17, 1992.

She had lived in Plainview until moving to California in 1993.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Jerry ?Jered? Edd Green of Hollywood, Calif.

A pictorial memorial and open viewing will be Tuesday at the Funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the Hale County Farm Museum ay Hale Center.
