Obituary

Graveside services for Fraulein Edwards Green, 72, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Parklawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Travis Bennett, associate pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Bartley Funeral Home. Mrs. Green died at 11 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2004. She was born May 14, 1932, in Childress. She was a retired telephone operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone. On June 12, 1954, she married Joe Andrew Edwards Jr. He died Sept. 14, 1969. She married Bill Green in May 1977. He died May 26, 1986. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Dana and John Boling of Hemet, Calif.; a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Carla Edwards of Plainview; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. The family suggests memorials to Meals on Wheels or to a favorite local charity
