Obituary

Funeral services for Bill Gray Sr., 80, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wood Dunning Funeral Home Chapel in Plainview with the Rev. Novice Northington officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Wood Dunning Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Gray died Friday, June 3, 2011, in Lubbock. He was born Nov. 28, 1930, in Bogata to Robert and Mary Gray. He married Betty Gray on Dec. 20, 1952, in Childress. He moved to Plainview in 1953 from Childress. He installed irrigation pumps. Survivors include his wife; one son and daughter-in-law, William "Willie" Jr. and Trina Gray of Denison; one daughter, Debbie Ellena of Plainview; three brothers, James Gray of Muleshoe, Wayne Gray of Sherman and Ronnie Gray of Plainview; two sisters, Francis Galligar of Sherman and Linda Sheppard of Denison; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. His parents; three brothers; and two sisters are deceased.
