Obituary

Funeral services for Edna Earl Grant, 87, were at 2 p.m. today in 11th and Amarillo Church of Christ with Lewis Senter and Marion Gion officiating. Burial was in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Mrs. Grant died Friday, June 2, 2006, in Santa Fe House assisted living center. She was born March 4, 1919, in Lockney and married Olen Grant on April 19, 1941, in Memphis, Texas. He died in 1995. She moved to Plainview in 1951 and was a member of 11th and Amarillo Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Sue Grant and Bill and Gwenda Grant, all of Amarillo; a daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Walter Hall of Plainview; two sisters, Betty Heines of Lakeville, Ind., and Norma Scarbrough of Amarillo; a brother, J.D. Nance of Silverton; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Her husband, parents, a brother and a grandchild are deceased. The family suggests memorials to 11th and Amarillo Church of Christ.
