Funeral services for Clara Goswick, 67, of Plainview, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Johnson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Mrs. Goswick died Friday, Dec. 10, 2004, in Prairie House Living Center. She was born July 9, 1937, in Rush Springs, Okla., and married James Goswick on Oct. 15, 1955, in Plainview. She moved to Plainview at age 12 with her parents and graduated from Plainview High School in 1956. She had worked as church secretary for St. Paul Lutheran Church and Seth Ward Baptist Church. She also worked as a bookkeeper for Barley's Refrigeration for 22 years, Roland's Automotive, Children's Exchange and Play It Again. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter #37 for 30 years. She was on the board of directors of South Plains Health Provider and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kristi and Mark Hatch of Plainview and Kathy and Paul Gonzalez of Lubbock; two brothers, Melvin Case of Montgomery, Ala., and Claudie Ray Case of Plainview; one sister, Christine Vinson of Plainview; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
