Goode, James Luther, Mrs. (Edna Christine)

Funeral services for Edna Goode, 88, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dean McNamara, chaplain of VistaCare Family Hospice, officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Goode died at 9 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2001, in Christian Manor.

She was born Sept. 8, 1912, in Abbott. She grew up in Lockney where she attended schools and graduated in 1929 from Lockney High School. She also had lived in McAdoo before moving to Hale Center in 1945 and to Plainview in 1967. She was a Baptist.

On Dec. 8, 1935, she married James Luther Goode in Silverton. He died Aug. 26, 1979.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Donald Graham of Llano; a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Belinda Goode of Happy; a sister, Eunice Robins of Nederland; one grandson; one great-grandson.
