Obituary

Funeral Mass for Raul Franco Gonzalez, 44, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Hale Center with the Rev. Jacob Puthuparambil, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Hale Center Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. A rosary will be at 6 p.m. today at Lemons Funeral Chapel. Mr. Gonzalez died Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, in Vidor. He was born Jan. 22, 1965, to Bonifacio and Maria Gonzalez. He graduated from Hale Center High School and worked as a welder most of his life. Survivors include his parents; two sons, Adam Gonzalez and his wife, Yvette, of Plainview and Vicente Fuentes of Corpus Christi; three brothers, Ramon Gonzalez of Lubbock, Noe Gonzalez of Memphis and Jesus Gonzalez of Vidor; two sisters, Esther Trevino of Lubbock and Eva Salas of Hale Center; and four grandchildren. A brother, Hilberto Gonzalez, is deceased.
