Gonzalez, Pedro, Mrs. (Buena V.)

Hale Center ? Funeral Mass for Buena V. Gonzalez, 81, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Theresa?s Catholic Church with the Rev. Timothy Judd officiating.

Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in St. Theresa?s Catholic Church.

Burial will be a Hale Center Cemetery by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home of Hale center.

Mrs. Gonzalez died Friday, Jan 15, 1999, at Hi-Plains Hospital in Hale Center.

She was born July 14, 1917, in Ojinaga, Mexico.

She married Pedro Gonzalez on Jan. 26. 1935, in Ojinaga, Mexico.

She has lived in Hale Center most of her life.

Survivors include her husband, Pedro; four sons, Bonifacio Gonzales of Hale Center, Pascual Gonzales of Levelland, Esequiel Gonzalez of Littlefield and Bernardino Gonzalez of Amarillo; seven daughters, Eduvijes Porras of Littlefield, Matilda Hernandez of Hereford, Carmen Mier of Marshall, Okla., Apolonia Orona of Junction, Fidelia Roman and Raquel Villareal of Plainview and Margarita Hernandez of Cotton Center; four brothers, Servando Pando, Hilario Pando and Abraham Pando of Mexico and Balerio Pando of Hereford; three sisters, Antonia Gallegos, ElpidiaTarin and Benina Burola, all of Mexico; 53 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A son, Luciano Gonzalez, died in 1965.
