Funeral Mass for Carolina C. Gonzalez , 67 will be at 2p.m. Saturday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Gerard Kenny, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in the Lemons Memorial Chapel.
Mrs. Gonzalez died at 9:45 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 1999, in Covenant Hospital Plainview.
She was born Carolina Cisneros on Aug. 6, 1931, in Taft. She grew up in Mexico and moved to Plainview in 1931. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and the Cursillistas.
On Dec. 31, 1949, she married Manuel Gonzalez in Bustamente, Mexico.
Survivors include her husband; six daughters and five sons-in-law, Lala and Roberto Herrera of Austin, Tila and Rich Hernandez of Dallas, Caroline and Pete Salazar of San Marcos, Betty and Adolfo Rangel, Elva and Abel Morales and Annette Gutierrez, all of Plainview; one son and daughter-in-law, George and Chris Gonzalez of Plainview; one brother, Avelino Cisneros of Laredo; two sisters, Guadalupe Limon of Laredo and Alicia Cervantez of Valle Hermoso, Mexico; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her mother and father, Guadalupe and Blasita Cisneros, are deceased. Also deceased are a daughter, Yolanda Gonzalez, who died in 1953; a grandson, Robert Daniel Herrera, in 1995, and a sister, Eva Moralez in 1994. The six daughters will serve as pallbearers.
