Obituary

Funeral services for Destinie Renee Gonzalez, 2-year-old daughter of Danielle Lerma of Plainview and Jessie Gonzalez of Hale Center, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Gerard Kenney, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 tonight in the funeral home chapel. The child died at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2002, at her residence. She was born Dec. 14, 1999, in Lubbock. Survivors includes her parents; her grandparents, Bonifasio and Maria Gonzalez of Hale Center, Daniel Lerma of Tulia and Mary Lerma of Plainview; and her great-grandparents, Guadalupe Gonzalez of Amarillo, Pedro Gonzalez of Plainview and Adam Lerma of Tulia.
