Alonzo Gonzalez, 81, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, in Plainview. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2011, at Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Don Robertson officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, April 28, 2011. Funeral services are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. Alonzo was born to Genaro and Daria Gonzalez on May 25, 1929, in La Mesa, N.M. He married Carlota Gonzalez in February 1962. He was preceded in death by his parents, Genaro and Daria Gonzalez; his son, Tony S. Gonzalez; four brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Carlota Gonzalez of Plainview; two daughters, Isabel Molina of Lubbock and Rosa Willet of Dallas; three sons, Rocky Gonzalez of Plainview, Henry Gonzalez of Hereford and John D. Gonzalez of Plainview; one brother, Jose Anavil Gonzalez of Mexico; two sisters, Dolores Gonzalez of El Paso and Irma Gonzalez of Mexico; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
