Obituary

Funeral services for Jose Gonzales, 82, will be at noon Tuesday, at Bartley Memorial Chapel with Elder Oniell Rosas, of Jehovah's Witnesses Spanish Congregation, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Mr. Gonzales died Friday, Dec. 8, 2006, in Lubbock. He was born March 19, 1924, in Caldwell. He married Norberta Gonzalez in 1970 in Dallas. He was a farm laborer most of his life. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Spanish Congregation in Plainview. Survivors include his wife, Norberta of Plainview; one son; two daughters; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Jose Gonzales was loved by a great number of relatives all of whom he held very close to his heart, many whom live in Midland and Monahans Texas.
