Obituary

Guadalupe Juarez Gonzales, age 64 of Arlington, formerly of Plainview, passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at Lemons Memorial Chapel, 206 W. Eighth St., Plainview, Texas. Interment will follow at Plainview Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015. Arrangements are by Lemons Funeral Home. "Lupe" was born Oct. 18, 1950, in Roscoe, Texas, to Fidel Jr. and Francisca (Seballez) Juarez. She attended school at Plainview High and later graduated from nursing school in Plainview. She enjoyed a career as an LVN for many years. Lupe enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play football, collecting lighthouses, listening to George Strait, dancing anytime she had the opportunity and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisca and Fidel Juarez Jr. and two brothers, Fidel Juarez, III and Felix Juarez. Survivors include a daughter, Francine Gonzales of Arlington; a son, Anthony Gonzales and wife Jordana of Tahoka, Texas; three sisters, Selma Munguia, Velma Juarez and Sandra Juarez; two brothers, Ruben Juarez and Rudy Juarez; six grandchildren, John, Hayden, Cyrus, Julian, Leah and Christopher; three uncles, Jose Seballez, Benito Juarez and O.J.
