Gonzales, Eron

Funeral services for Eron Gonzales, 68, of Arlington, former Plainview resident, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with Guadalupe Munoz of Plainview and Eusebio Castillo of Arlington officiating.

Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Gonzales died at 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, in Dallas/Fort Worth Medical Center in Grand Prairie.

He was born Oct. 16, 1931, in Edcouch. He married Consuelo Nava on May 16, 1969, in Plainview.

Survivors include his wife of Arlington; two daughters, Elsa Garcia and Cynthia Gonzales, both of Arlington; five brothers, Ruben Gonzales of Lubbock, Jesse and Samuel Gonzales, both of Houston, and Joel and Santos Gonzales, both of Plainview; five sisters, Lupe Diaz of Toledo, Ohio, Gloria Gonzales of Kress and Janie Reyna, Julia Gonzales and Zenida Griego, all of Plainview; and five grandchildren.

A daughter, Mary Ann Salazar, and a son, Santos Gonzales, and two grandchildren are deceased.
