Funeral Mass for Raymond Gomez Jr., 52, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Arsenio Redulla officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview. A rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mr. Gomez died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011. He was born Sept. 30, 1959, to Raymond Sr. and Esther Gomez in Plainview. He married Janie Zambrano on March 25, 1980, in Plainview. He worked for Southwestern Grain for 29 years, Allstar Fuel and City of Plainview. Raymond is survived by his wife; three daughters, Clarissa Gomez, Briann Gomez and Jullisa Gomez, all of Plainview; two sons, Francisco Gomez and Xavier Gomez, both of Plainview; his father, Raymond Gomez Sr. of Plainview; four brothers, Rick Gomez and Gilbert Delbosque, both of Pueblo, Colo., Adam Cuevas of Albuquerque, N.M., and Rudy Gomez of Plainview; and one sister, Lucy Estrada of Plainview.
