Obituary

Funeral services for Benito "Benny" Gomez, 46, of Manteo, N.C., will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Primera Iglesia Bautista with the Rev. Hernandez officiating. Burial will be in Petersburg Cemetery by White Funeral Home of Idalou. Arrangements also are by Twiford Funral Home of Manteo, N.C. Mr. Gomez died Friday, April 22, 2005, in Albemarle, N.C. Survivors include his parents, Domingo Vela Gomez and Paula Bocanegra Gomez of Petersburg; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Chris Minor of Abernathy, Lucy and Rocky Gonzales of Plainview and Linda and Armondo Moreno of Petersburg.
