Funeral services for Jimmy Glenn, 46, of Garland will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church chapel with the Rev. Bob White of Plano and the Rev. Brock Sanders of Waco officiating.

Arrangements are by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.

Mr. Glenn died at 7:45 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2003, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

He was born Sept. 11, 1956, in Lubbock. He attended Kress schools and graduated from Plainview High School in 1975.

He had farmed in the Plainview area for several years before moving to Birmingham, Ala., where he managed a Firestone tire store. He later worked as an advertising manager for WKMX-FM Radio Station in Enterprise, Ala., and also worked for his father at Glenn Tire Co., in Dumas. He moved back to Plainview and farmed before moving to Garland.

He was a Baptist.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law. Christopher Acil and Lauren Glenn of Mildenhall, England; his parents, A.C. and Peggy Glenn of Dumas; a sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Gary Morgan of Birmingham; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Lisa Glenn of Birmingham; a granddaughter, Madison Taylor Glenn of Mildenhall; a step grandson, Corbin Stockman of Keller; and a special friend, Patty Robertson of Garland.

The family suggests memorials to the American Red Cross.
