Funeral services for Carol Gilbreath, 56, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Parkview Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Martin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley Funeral Home. A visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Gilbreath died Sunday, May 17, 2009, at her residence. She was born Sept. 27, 1952, in Plainview to J.C. and Edith Stanton. She married Mike Gilbreath on July 19, 1985, in Plainview. He died July 15, 2008. She was a lifelong resident of Plainview and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She was a beloved mother, friend and Mimi. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Mandy Mogg of Plainview; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and John Reeves of Lubbock; one brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Kay Stanton of Plainview; two stepsons and two stepdaughters-in-law, Todd and Debra Gilbreath and Terry and Melody Gilbreath, all of Plainview; and six grandchildren.
